The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even greeted us with a delicious piece of Tony's chocolate, which was a lovely touch. the option to order hot food and receive free tea/coffee was a lifesaver after a long and wet day of hiking. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated. - the value for money was excellent, with clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. the pizza I had was amazing and the staff were more than happy to provide route advice for hikers.
The noise levels in the hostel were quite high due to the old wooden building, making it easy to hear everything from adjacent rooms and corridors. This was particularly annoying when there were noisy guests running around.

Everything's very clean. . . The communal kitchen is fully equipped and very organized. Everything has its marked place. There are plenty of boxes for food you bring with you, so you don't have to leave it in your room. . Quiet location.

Quiet environment.
The lack of cleanliness and poor ventilation in the room made the room smell of moisture and this was a bit overwhelming.

The hotel provided great facilities for cooking and plenty of space in the rooms for multiple people. The staff were friendly and patient, especially when we arrived late at night. The location was ideal for starting hikes in the woods or hills. It was right next to the local shop and train station, making transportation convenient.

Super location with direct access to WHW. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Equipment is typical for a hostel. Rooms are spacious and washrooms are clean. Kitchen had everything you need. There is a supermarket just around the corner to buy food. Train and bus stop in the immediate vicinity.

Clean and friendly staff. Good location for hillwalking and walking the West Highland Way. The hostel offered free towels and tea bags/coffee.
Rooms were not soundproof, could easily hear noises from other guests in the corridor. The constant locking and unlocking of doors was a real inconvenience, especially after 11 pm.

Spent xmas at a hostel and was pleasantly surprised! Loved the fact that there were only a few people to share a room with, which led to a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The free tea and coffee all day long was great for the chilly xmas weather! The hostel's close proximity to the train station and supermarket also made it extremely convenient.
The shower had rather low water pressure and could have been better. , the hostel was quite old and made of wood, resulting in noise being heard easily from adjacent rooms and corridors.

I had an excellent stay at the hostel. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a double bed and bunk beds. The shower room and separate toilet were convenient. The hostel also had great drying and kitchen facilities. I loved that there was a friendly welcome and clear information upon arrival. The option to wash laundry was also a plus. The hostel's location was perfect for hillwalking and exploring the area. The continental breakfast offered was top-notch. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
